Kentucky Wesleyan enters the NCAA tournament for a national record breaking 35th time after posting a 19-8 record and a third place East Division finish in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 11-7 slate.
T. J. Smith, a preseason All-American guard and All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honoree, leads the Panthers in scoring (16.9), assists (5.8) and steals (28). Forward Lorenzo Taylor leads KWC in rebounding (7.0) and is second in scoring (11.2).
