SEASON SUMMARY
Grand Valley State used strong senior leadership and tough defense en route to its fourth straight trip to NCAA DII Midwest Regional. GVSU, making its ninth overall trip to the NCAA Tournament, is a two-time NCAA DII Midwest Regional Champion.
The Lakers are led by senior First-Team All-GLIAC?performer Pete Trammell. Trammell is averaging 13.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game and leads GVSU in three-pointers made (47) and free throws made (110). GVSU is 111-18 during Trammells
four-year career as a starter.
Sophomore forward Justin Ringler leads the squad in rebounding (5.8), while ranking second in points (12.5). Ringler has three double-doubles this season and earned All-GLIAC Second-Team honors.
Both Trammell and Ringler were named to the GLIAC North Division All-Defensive Team. |
