GVSU Falls In NCAA Tournament To Findlay, 66-51
Grand Valley State dropped a 66-51 decision to #1-ranked and undefeated Findlay in an NCAA DII Midwest Regional First-Round game Saturday, March 14 in Findlay, Ohio. Grand Valley State, making its fourth straight NCAA DII Midwest Regional appearance, ends the 2008-09 season with a 21-10 record.

Oilers, Screaming Eagles Advance In Tourney
The second session of the 2009 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament was completed on Saturday, March 14 in Findlay, Ohio. The University of Findlay, the top seed in the tournament, defeated eighth seeded Grand Valley State University 66-51 in the first game which was followed by a 78-72 victory for fourth seeded University of Southern Indiana over fifth seeded Rockhurst University.
