Song-Chong Lee, Ph.D., assistant
professor of religious studies and philosophy at The University of Findlay,
will offer a Korean language class to UF students and community members from
5-6 p.m. on Tuesdays during the fall semester. Those interested should join by
Sept. 11.
Students will learn an introductory
level of the Korean language and brief history of the country and popular
culture. There is a $30 student fee for learning materials.
Lee’s scholarly and teaching interests
include Asian religions, religion and politics, Korean Christianity and
Neo-Confucianism. Lee serves as co-director of the Findlay Korean Language and Culture
School. His recent publications include “A Lesson
from Paul on Interreligious Dialogue” and “A Perspective on Deuteronomy:
Encountering a New Minjung.”
