Learn How to Be a Leader from a Real World Leader
Sign up for BUAD 199 Organizational Leadership Today!
Do you like being a student leader and want to get an edge on becoming a leader after you graduate? Then sign up for a new spring class taught by the former head of a company that was recognized as the best small business in the United States. The course is designed for any student who wants to strengthen his or her leadership skills.
BUAD 199 Organizational Leadership will be taught this spring by Paul Worstell, the recently retired President of PRO-TEC Coatings. Under his leadership, PRO-TEC won the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2007. The Baldrige Award is the top honor a U.S. company can receive for quality achievement and performance excellence. PRO-TEC is one of only five companies to win the award in 2007, and it is the only company to win in the Small Business category.
Mr. Worstell is a 1999 graduate of UF’s MBA Program, serves on the College of Business Advisory Board and currently works as a leadership-training consultant.
Students from any major and college can take the course, which has no prerequisites. BUAD 199 is offered Thursday evenings during spring semester from 6:30 to 9:15 p.m.
Launch your leadership skills to the next level by learning from an experienced, proven leader. For more information on how to BE A LEADER, contact your advisor or e-mail
