Course Description:
This course is an introduction to the theory and tools of Macroeconomics. Learners’ knowledge of concepts and theories will be demonstrated through examinations and problem-solving skills on relevant economic issues. Though not limited to the following, learners will be introduced to the following concepts:
Production Possibilities Analysis
Demand and Supply Analysis
Market Equilibrium Analysis
Government Intervention in the Market
National Income Accounting

Exams, Quizzes and Assignments will comprise the following percentages of the semester grade: Exam #1 15% Assign/Quizzes 30% Exam #2 15% Final Exam 25% Exam #3 15%
Grades are based on the following percentage of total points earned: 100% – 90% =A 89% – 80% =B 79% – 70% =C 69% – 60% =D 59% & Below =F
