Marketing
Marketing is an
organizational function and a set of processes for creating,
communicating and delivering value to customers and for managing
customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its
stakeholders.
Marketing includes functions such as personal
selling, sales force management, advertising and promotion, product
design, marketing research and customer service. Marketing provides an
organizational and market-based perspective that often proves valuable
as people move through their careers.
A major in marketing is
available at The University of Findlay and requires the 15 core
business courses as well as various marketing courses. A minor in
marketing, as well as an associate’s degree and certificate program in
sales/retail management, are also offered.
