The University of Findlay Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)


Founded in 1975, SIFE is a unique organization that connects the business world with higher education. SIFE encourages the personal and professional development of new business leaders, the creation and exchange of new ideas and business practices, and the teaching of others how to succeed.		At the SIFE New York conference, Christina Terry, president of SIFE, met with Tim Toll, Vice President, Global Customer Teams, Campbells Soup Company.
What is S.I.F.E.? The University of Findlay Students In Free Enterprise team is an internationally ranked team of students using their passion for helping others and their knowledge of business to make a difference. SIFE is a program which allows college students from around the world to make and incorporate business ideas that can range from recycling programs and education on their college campus to teaching people to farm more productively and helping them sell their crops. The goal of SIFE is to help others to make an economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable impact through the use of business tools and techniques.		Who Can Get Involved? All college students including graduate students can be a part of SIFE your major does not matter! All areas of expertise and interests are needed to help make SIFE successful. When does S.I.F.E. Meet? At The University of Findlay SIFE has a meeting time on file as a class. When scheduling look for BUAD495. For the Fall 2011 Semester SIFE is scheduled to meet Wednesdays from 2:00-2:50. Why Would I Want To Get Involved? The University of Findlay SIFE team is recognized as one of the top 5 teams in the world and holds the most regional and national wins. Money Lunch Program - Radio
The goal of the program is to inform the community on current financial topics and educate listeners on how market-based economic systems operate. Our radio show was developed to give our listeners the opportunity to hear for themselves the nature of our economy and the impact of consumers on the U.S. and the world.

SIFE Business Journal - TV & web
This SIFE Business Journal has been created to bring quality education on relevant and timely topics such as understanding market-based economic systems, and the skills training needed to succeed in a dynamic, competitive global economy.
