Career Opportunities
A goal of the graduate program at UF is to help you raise your professionalism so that you can advance your career. To this end, the faculty have carefully planned experiences that cause you to develop your leadership, interpersonal, research, teaching, assessment, curriculum development, data management, and planning skills. Through your advanced degree you can switch from regular to special education or vice versa; become a reading specialist, special needs preschool teacher, technology coordinator, TESOL/Bilingual teacher, or middle childhood generalist; become a principal, superintendent, or curriculum specialist; or prepare to work in adult education in business. You can stretch yourself to take on leadership roles in your school district. Whatever you choose, the UF faculty will help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to achieve your career goals.
