Goals of the Teacher Candidate Support program in NW OHIO:
To sustain and nurture regional teacher candidates in their quest to obtain National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) certification, for both initial and advanced candidates;
To assist participating initial and advanced candidates in the production of their portfolios;
To prepare the candidates for the assessment center experience; and
To provide an invitation to current National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) to become an integral and viable part of the University of Findlay’s advanced professional development learning community.
