You will participate in two internships during your School Building Leader (Principal) program. They are EDAD 580 (EDUC 587): Internship: Supervision and EDAD 582 (EDUC 588): Internship: Administrative Tasks. These two internships provide you with a year-long experience working with a mentor administrator. You may be able to do your internships in your home school and will not have to quit your job or take a leave of absence to accomplish them. The internships are an important component of the assessment system of the School Building Leader program. During them, you will be building a portfolio to demonstrate your ability to address all of the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) standards.
