School District Leader (Superintendent)
Field and Clinical Experiences
You will participate in an internship during your School District Leader (Superintendent) program. It is EDAD 614 (EDUC 614): Internship: Superintendents. This internship provides you with a year-long experience working with a mentor administrator, who may be a superintendent, assistant superintendent, or curriculum coordinator.
You may be able to do your internship in your home school and will not have to quit your job or take a leave of absence to accomplish it. The internship is an important component of the assessment system of the School District Leader program. During your internship, you will be building a portfolio to demonstrate your ability to address all of the Educational Leadership Constituent Council
(ELCC) standards
for the School District Leader.
