Candidate working with children.

Licensure Programs
Through The University of Findlay's licensure programs, you can earn a teaching license at either the undergraduate or post-baccalaureate level. The post-baccalaureate program is for candidates who already hold a baccalaureate degree. Undergraduate licensure takes about 4 years. Time to complete post-baccalaureate licensure will vary by program depending upon a licensure audit of undergraduate transcripts. Some additional undergraduate content classes may be required.

Advanced Programs
The graduate program offers you the opportunity to renew your teaching license and/or advance your career in the following areas:
  • School Building Leader (Principal)
  • School District Leader (Superintendent)
  • K-12 Reading Specialist
  • Technology Coordinator
  • Early Education of the Handicapped (special needs preschool)
  • Middle Childhood Generalist (grades 4-6 self-contained)
  • Human Resource Development (HRD)

Graduate credit for district level professional development can be earned through Graduate Outreach and Partnerships.
