The No Child Left Behind Act of 2004 identifies the importance of Early Intervention Programs for the success of all children in public education. As a result, public school preschool classes are being added to public school systems nationwide. Across the United States thousands of preschool units were added to public schools effective for the 2005-2006 academic year. Teaching opportunities for Early Childhood Educators are on the increase.
