Welcome to the Early Childhood Education Licensure information page. If you are interested in teaching children between the ages of 3 and 8 (prekindergarten through grade 3), our program offers unique learning opportunities for you.

In our program you will engage in field experiences each year!  As a freshman, you will complete a three-week field experience and then, during the sophomore and junior years, you will be in the schools from five to seven weeks. The culminating experience is 12-weeks student teaching in your senior year. In your courses, small class sizes allow "hands-on" learning experiences, interactions with classmates, and close work with our caring faculty.
