Candidate Assessment
Assessment is an ongoing process in the College of Education. Candidates begin their program assessments, usually in the form of portfolios, in initial education classes. Portfolios are constructed from the beginning of the program through field experiences, methods classes, and culminate after graduation. Candidates are able to use their development portfolios to structure impressive interview portfolios that can be used during the job interview process.
Teacher candidates in the undergraduate program have four levels of assessment.
In the post baccalaureate program there are three levels of assessment. The matrices for each may be viewed by clicking the the Assessment Plans listed below.
