Many experts predict that over the next decade the United States will need over two million new teachers. Some districts offer cash incentives for teaching and coaching. If you teach math or science in a Title I school, there is even a chance that your student loans can be paid off! Some districts will assist with housing loans and/or help finance your master's degree. Texas, Nevada, Tennessee, Florida. Tennessee, and North Carolina have a high need for teachers.
In Ohio, you can check the Ohio Department of Education's web site to see what jobs are open across the state. Additionally, the University of Findlay's Career Services Office will provide you with assistance with writing your resume, drafting cover letters, and organizing your job search, all as a benefit of your tuition.
