Early Education of the Handicapped (EEH)
The University of Findlay has offered the Early Education of the Handicapped (EEH) endorsement since 1994. This endorsement may be added to the following Ohio teaching licenses:
grades k-8
grades 1-8
Intervention Specialist
Early Childhood
Home Economics
Educational Technology
If you add this endorsement, you can teach in an Ohio public preschool, which is a special education unit funded by the federal government.
If you enter the Early Childhood program in Fall 2005, this endorsement is incorporated into your program. If you entered the Early Childhood program before Fall 2005, you only need to take two additional graduate-level courses, EDUC 502: Collaboration: Education and Community and EDCI 573 (EDUC 573): Program Policies and Procedures for Early Childhood.
