The Clinical Experience for the Early Education of the Handicapped (EEH)Endorsement is an eight-week pre-student teaching experience in a public preschool.  This field experience is attached to EDCI 578. You are required to teach a minimum of six lessons during your field experience, two of which will be formally evaluated by your university supervisor. You will also plan and teach for an entire week during the eight-week experience. Collaboration with your cooperating teacher, university supervisor and university professor makes this a valuable learning experience.

If you are an Early Childhood candidate going through our licensure program, your preschool field experience will be attached to EDCI 570. If you are an EEH candidate holding a current EC license and want to add this endorsement, your field experience is attached to EDCI 578. If you are currently teaching in a public preschool under a temporary license, you may complete your field experience in your classroom upon approval of the program director.
