Once the Technology Endorsement is added to your teaching license, you will be licensed to teach all k-12 computer courses in the state of Ohio. Although the Ohio Department of Education does not currently require a specific degree or license for a technology coordinator, many alumni of the UF College of Education's Technology Endorsement have gone on to become technology coordinators.
Online Teaching Certificate:
Have you thought about teaching k-12 courses online? You can earn an online teaching certificate from the University of Findlay by taking EDFI 560 (EDUC 560): Technology Integration, EDFI 565 (EDUC 565): Technology Production: Internet and EDHR 644 (EDUC 644): Teaching Online. Two of these courses are part of the technology endorsement program. During these courses you will learn all the technical skills required to create effective online content. The third course, EDHR 644 (EDUC 644): Teaching Online, will prepare you to deliver and manage an online class.
