The University of Findlay is one of few institutions in the State of Ohio that offers the Middle Childhood Generalist Endorsement. This endorsement allows you to teach in a self-contained 4th, 5th, or 6th grade and can only be added to a Middle Childhood License. The endorsement may be earned in one content area or the two content areas that are not on your original Middle Childhood License. Teachers holding a Middle Childhood Generalist Endorsement may only teach the endorsed content in grades 4-6. Each endorsement requires the passage of two specific content area classes with grades of "C" or higher and passage of a Praxis II Test.
