Once you have taken the endorsement courses and passed PRAXIS II: Introduction to the Teaching of Reading, you will be eligible to work as a reading teacher (grade K-12), as well as assist your building level staff and administration with literacy needs/issues.





People with reading endorsements can also become involved with Ohio's Teacher on Loan or Literacy Specialists programs or can become SIRI (Summer Institutes for Reading Improvement) faculty.  The reading endrosement allows you to take on leadership roles in reading.
