The Teacher Performance Assessment is required for student teachers.  This is a National Performance Assessment for preservice teachers and will be required to obtain a Resident Educator License in Ohio by 2012.  In order to transition to a Professional Educator License you will expand upon the TPA during the third year of residency.You will receive your TPA by content area in your capstone class with student teaching.Other Resources:
