Program Info

Welcome

Occupational therapists provide a wide range of services for individuals across the life span, using meaningful and healthy occupations to develop, improve, sustain or restore skills in daily living, work or productivity and play or leisure.

At The University of Findlay the Occupational Therapy Program's mission is to prepare occupational therapists who understand and value an occupation-based approach to practice and are self-directed, lifelong learners, agents for change and leaders in the profession and the community.

The University of Findlay's Weekend and Traditional Occupational Therapy Programs transitioned to graduate programs in 2000. Our student/faculty ratio and cutomized leaning experiences support individual student learning styles. Our program embodies principles of human occupation and incorporates community-based experiences and service learning.
