An important requirement of the application for admission to the Physician Assistant Program is the submission of a personal statement. It is the program’s way of enabling each applicant to personally distinguish himself or herself from the many other applicants. Please note the following guidelines regarding this application requirement:

1. Your personal statement must be original and is limited to 350 words.
2. The statement must be type-written and double-spaced.
3. Your full name must be at the top right hand of your statement.
4. Your signature must follow the close of your personal statement.
5. The content of your personal statement must address the following:           
   "Share how you changed a situation of adversity into an opportunity."
6. Your personal statement must be included with your Supplemental Application. Your supplemental application will be sent to you by The University of Findlay PA program.
