Doctor of Physical Therapy
Physical therapists work to preserve, develop and restore maximum physical function. Physical therapists also assume leadership roles in health maintenance, prevention of illness or injury and scholarly activities. Physical therapists may work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, nursing homes, home health, rehabilitation centers, outpatient clinics and educational institutions. The mission of the Physical Therapy Programs at The University of Findlay is to prepare ethical, entry-level practitioners who are competent within and sensitive to the ever-changing health care environment as it relates to the prevention and alleviation of movement dysfunction.
