The Master of Athletic Training Program has been very busy over the past few months. Congratulations to six members of the Class of 2010 who graduated on May 2. They also achieved a 100% first time passing rate on the BOC Certification exam. Great job, ladies!Congratulations to Kali Conger for being awarded the 2009-10 Outstanding AT Student of the year award.
Two groups of students presented their graduate reserch project during the on campus Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity.Stephanie Smith, Kali Conger and Katie Greisiger presented their project, Acute Effects of Pre-Practice Stretching Protocols on Hamstring Flexibility in Collegiate Football PlayersAllyson Hoops and Tasha Schill also presented, The Comparison of the Donjoy Female Fource and Donjoy 4-titude on Landing Position, Comfort and Compliance in Healthy Females.Two poster presentations were also given at the National Athletic Trainers' Association Annual Meeting and Symposium, June 25 in Philadelphia PA.We were also excited to welcome the new incoming MAT class of 2012 to campus for summer school. The new class of 10 students began July 5 and getting ready for their first clinical exeperience beginning during August pre-season.
