Blanchard Valley Academy of Massage Therapy
The Blanchard Valley Academy of Massage Therapy (
www.bvamt.com
) is located in Findlay, OH and is approved by the State Medical Board of Ohio and the State Board of Career Colleges & Schools. The program involves an 800 hour, one-year course of study in which students attend classes one day or 2 evenings per week. Admission is available in the fall or spring based on enrollment availability.
Classes include Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofacial release, sports massage, pregnancy and infant massage, health and nutrition, shiatsu, reflexology, anatomy, physiology and business practices as well as hands-on-training. Upon completion of this course of study, students are prepared to take the state licensing examination.
