Career Opportunities
As a medical technologist you might work in a hospital, clinic, nursing home, public health facility, commercial laboratory or research laboratory. According to the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the national average salary for medical technologists is approximately $40,200. Experienced supervisors' and managers' average salaries range from $59,200 to $63,000.
