Mount Carmel College of Nursing began its baccalaureate nursing program in the fall of 1990. However, Mount Carmel has a long history in nursing education. A diploma nursing program, sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Cross, existed from 1903 to 1993. Mount Carmel has graduated more than 8,300 nurses and established a tradition of excellence in nursing education.

As a pre-nursing student, you will complete general education and prerequisite course work during your first two years at The University of Findlay. If you earn a 3.0 or better GPA you will be eligible to enter the Mount Carmel College of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program in the summer prior to your junior year.
