College of Health Professions

Welcome from the Dean

Welcome to the College of Health Professions at The University of Findlay. With a specific focus on health-related fields of study, we endeavor to provide high quality and innovative academic programs that prepare students for meaningful lives and productive careers in the health profession of their choice. Some of the unique features of the College are outlined below. I invite you to take a closer look!

Multiple Academic Program Options
For an institution our size, the number of health professions programs from which you can choose is exceptional. This provides you with opportunities for broad exploration and the ability to move between different majors within the health professions while continuing your studies at UF. Furthermore, with more than 10 areas of study, the College is able to draw on the strengths of each program to provide interdisciplinary experiences and share faculty expertise across a variety of disciplines.

Supportive Environment
One unique feature of studying health professions at The University of Findlay is the supportive, student-centered environment. Because of our smaller size and teaching- and learning-oriented mission, all students in the College of Health Professions receive personalized academic and career advising from faculty within their program. Many of our graduates comment positively about the relationships they've developed and continue to maintain with our faculty.

Brewer Center for the Health SciencesState of the Art Facilities
The College of Health Professions is fortunate to have the Brewer Center for the Health Sciences as the primary academic building dedicated to our programs. This building provides our students and faculty with access to classroom space, program laboratories, a cadaver laboratory and an on-site clinic. In addition, the College supports a research laboratory and the OT Home. At the OT Home health professions students to gain clinical knowledge of and experience with home modifications for the elderly.
