The Masters Program in TESOL/Bilingual Education is nationally and internationally known for its quality in the following areas:

• Every faculty member has over 15 years of teaching experience, and they come from a wide variety of backgrounds. All are bilingual.
  
• Over 15 graduates have gone on to study at the Ph.D. level.
• The curriculum was built with only the professional needs of ESL/bilingual teachers in mind. There are no extra courses from other departments.
  
• Students also come from a variety of backgrounds both nationally and internationally.
• Personalized attention for our students is our trademark. This can be seen all the way from our advising of students to our one-on-one instruction in the culminating Practicum project.
• We fulfill the teaching needs of a diverse student body. Both international and American students have opportunities to volunteer to teach ESL classes in our local school system.
• Our masters program continues to be composed of a supportive, multicultural community of students.
