The University of Findlay supports two concert bands: the Wind Ensemble and the Symphonic Band . All brass, woodwind and percussion players are welcome.

The Wind Ensemble performs on campus, off campus and on tour. Membership is by audition, and seating is limited. Scholarships for participation are available.  Some musical instruments are available for loan.   Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., from November through May.

No audition is required for Symphonic Band.  Membership is open to all university students and to members of the Findlay community.  Assignment of parts is rotated.   Scholarships for participation are available, and some instruments are available for loan. Two major concerts per year are presented. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., November through May.
