Concert-Chorale
Director: Dr. Micheal F. Anders
The University of Findlay Concert-Chorale has a long and distinguished history on campus. Participation in this choir is open to all students without audition.
The Concert-Chorale presents annual Christmas and spring concerts that feature a variety of popular choral literature as well as seasonal favorites.
The Concert-Chorale, numbering about seventy voices, also performs major choral works such as Handel's "Messiah," "The Creation" by Haydn, and Mozart's "Requiem."
Participants in the Concert-Chorale are eligible to compete for Fine Arts scholarships that are renewable for up to five years, as long as recipients continue to enroll in the choir. In addition, several endowed Vocal Music Scholarships, ranging from $200 to over $1,000 are awarded yearly.
The Concert-Chorale rehearses Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
