Overview
The University of Findlay Music Program is a vibrant and active part of the general education program. We offer a Music Minor and individual music lessons, and the vocal and instrumental ensembles create a strong presence on the UF campus.
Courses
Several general education courses are offered in the fine arts area, in both lecture and interactive environments. Private music instruction is available for all orchestral and band instruments, piano, guitar, organ, harp, voice and composition.
Performance
Performing arts experiences are available for all students interested in pursuing musical growth. Ensembles include the "Oiler Brass" Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensembles including "Oiler Jazz" and "University Jazz," Concert-Chorale, "University Singers," a select vocal ensemble, and the Findlay-Area Community Chorus.
Campus Life
The Music Program affords cultural opportunities to the campus and the Findlay-Hancock County community at large.
