Public Administration
Sample Courses and Syllabi
Courses in our Public Administration Minor have been designed to offer background on various levels of American government - national, state and local.
During its 25+ years of existence, Public Administration at UF has had a decidedly local emphasis. To complement courses such as Municipal Administration, we have established an excellent record of placing our students in internships working directly with Village and City Managers.
Below is a description of our Public Administration Internship course:
PBAD395 Internship in Public Administration
Prerequisites:"C" or better in ENGL 106 or 107 and consent of the instructor.
These are guided work-study experiences. Internship experiences are possible in Findlay, Hancock County, and many of the surrounding communities and counties. Internships through The Washington Center may also be appropriate for public administration internship credit.
