Work and Internship Opportunities
A number of internships are available in the political science program. You may choose to work for the city government of Findlay or city governments in surrounding communities. You may take advantage of internship opportunities in Washington, D.C. with The Washington Center. Political science majors have spent a semester in Washington, D.C., working in a number of government agencies and Congressional offices as well as with interest groups and trade organizations. Earning college credit in this manner will give you valuable insight into the real workings of politics and will set you apart from many other graduates across the nation.
