Teaching and Advising
Teaching and Advising...
these are top priorities for the English Faculty.
Teaching
English courses typically include a small student-to-teacher ratio, allowing students ample opportunity to receive individualized attention from all their English instructors. Our English faculty members are excellent teachers. Most hold the highest degree in their fields (PhDs and MFAs) and are published authors. All strive for a working relationship with their students in the classroom and also in advising.
Advising
All English majors are assured of receiving personalized attention from experts in their field. Through one-on-one advising sessions, English faculty members guide students as they progress through three important phases of development at The University of Findlay. Faculty will help students to choose:
their emphasis,
develop their senior project, and
help them prepare for entering the workforce.
Contact The University of Findlay English Department and talk with a faculty member to learn more about opportunities that you, as a student, will have to learn and to be guided by our faculty members.
