Forensic Science Summer Camp
Forensic Science Summer Camp - 2008

The University of Findlay offers a five day forensic science summer camp for high school students providing an introduction to the world of forensic science, involving the use of biology, chemistry, math and physics and their use within the criminal justice system.  The forensic camp allows students to experience a behind the scenes look at crime scenes and forensic science.
Students are provided the opportunity to use deductive reasoning and scientific skills to uncover and explore the mystery of a series of unsolved crimes using current forensic techniques.

This unique endeavor allows students to participate in the practical use of biology, chemistry and mathematics to examine evidence left behind at the crime scene and attempt, to identify the suspect. This in-depth camp experience also affords students entering grades 10 - 12 in the fall of 2008, the opportunity to interact with scientists and investigators involved with forensic science and criminal justice as they further explore their academic future and career opportunities.  There is an enrollment limit of 30 students.
