Work and Internship Opportunities

Existing internship opportunities that are worth academic credit that can be applied toward completion of the history major:
Hancock County Museum
Washington Center
Findlay Public Defender's Office
Ohio Humanities Council
Ohio Legislative Services Commission
Marathon Oil
Ohio Historical Society
New York Media Experience
Open Arms Domestic and Preventive Crisis Center

Study abroad opportunities are available as well. Course work completed abroad is normally accepted for credit toward the completion of the UF history major. Recently, one student chose to study abroad in Germany and successfully earned course credits toward the completion of her history major.
