Work and Internship Opportunities
As an International student, you must work on campus and may not work off campus unless you are eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT). OPT and CPT are benefits for F-1student visa holders. OPT requires a signature from your academic advisor to prove that you have or will complete your studies before you begin OPT.
For CPT, you must receive authorization from International Admissions and Services to show that you are eligible for CPT. You will need a signature from your academic advisor. Because CPT is considered an internship course (zero credit -good for one year) you must have the approval of your advisor, and the internship must be related to your course of study.
If you are interested in applying, please see Ms. Carmen Smith or Mr. Craig Haines at
International Admissions and Services
