ようこそ、フィンドレー大学日本語プログラムへ
The goal
of the Japanese program at The University of Findlay is to help you develop communication skills which enable you to pursue your goals in Japanese. Our instruction strongly emphasizes functional use of the
language in culturally appropriate manners.
Your learning experiences will take place through intensive
interactions inside and outside the classrooms. We will train you
in four contexts: (1) classroom, (2) on-campus activities, (3) the
Findlay area Japanese community, and (4) study abroad and internship
programs in Japan. You
never stay only in a classroom!!
The unique feature of our Japanese program is our close ties with
the Japanese community in Findlay. There are approximately 400
Japanese speakers in the Findlay area, and you will engage in
various activities with them.
We also have strong ties with Japan. We are affiliated with
several universities and companies in Japan. Every year, our
students go to Japan for study abroad or internship. We also host
students from Japan through several exchange programs.
We offer a major, minor, and a teaching license (K-12, Ohio).
