Student Organizations
By becoming a law major, you can join our popular Law Society on campus! Expand your horizons, meet new friends, and develop new contacts! Our campus Law Society - officially connected to the Law and Liberal Arts program - is an officially recognized student organization.
The Law Society sponsors trips to neighboring law schools in addition to focusing on social activities of interest to a wide variety of students. In summary, membership in the Law Society offers the following benefits to Law and Liberal Arts students:
1) Sense of participation in the larger UF campus community.
2) Student-run organization offering many a chance to assume leadership positions.
3) Up-to-date information on the Law program and law-related opportunities (field trips, etc.).
4) A chance to enhance your law school application or job application by showing membership in an extracurricular organization.
Talk to Prof. Paul Chwialkowski (419-434-6992) or Prof. Mark Polelle (419-434-5954) for information on how to join this exciting organization!
