The University of Findlay offers two endowed scholarships for students majoring (or in some cases minoring) in philosophy. These special scholarships are awarded annually for returning students only. Scholarship applications are submitted to the Office of Financial Aid early in the spring semester.

The Ralph Marlow Line Scholarship

• Awarded annually to a returning full-time student (or students) majoring in philosophy.
• Renewable if the recipient(s) maintains a 3.0 or better grade point average (4.0 scale).
• Recipient(s) shall demonstrate financial need through the appropriate forms/devices as administered and/or recommended by the Office of Financial Aid.

The Tim Trask Scholarship

• Awarded annually to an outstanding student (or no more than two students) majoring in philosophy (or English).
• Recipient must have at least a 3.0 grade point average (4.0 scale).
• Juniors and seniors will be given preference.
• Renewal of the award for successive years is not automatic.
