The political science program offers a number of internship possibilities from which you may choose to work for the city government of Findlay or city governments in surrounding communities, and you may take advantage of internship opportunities that exist in Washington, D.C.

The University of Findlay works with The Washington Center, which assists students in locating internships in our nation’s capital. Many political science majors have spent a semester in Washington, D.C., working in a number of government agencies and Congressional offices as well as with interest groups and trade organizations. Graduates who earn college credit in this manner gain valuable insight into the real workings of politics and set themselves apart from many graduates across the nation.
