Theatre Program Scholarships:
The University of Findlay Theatre program requires an intense commitment from majors and other students involved in production. Because of this expected commitment, the Theatre program works diligently with the UF Financial Aid office to finanically assist superior students. Scholarships are available for majors and interested non-majors.
Merit Scholarships:
In addition to general theatre scholarships, there are two merit scholarships available to Theatre majors.
Scholarship Auditions and Interviews:
Scholarship auditions and interviews occur at the end of each semester, and a scholarship recipient must repeat his or her audition and/or interview each semester. The audition requirements vary each semester, but usually include the performance of a prepared, memorized monologue appropriate for the actor's age and character type. A technical theatre student may bring in his or her professional-minded portfolio for review.
The following documents should aid the prospective and current scholarship recipient:
Theatre Program Scholarship Guidelines.
Theatre Program Scholarship Form.
(You must have Word to view these documents.)
