FAQ about the College
Here are some questions that students often ask.
Will a liberal arts degree help me get a job?
A liberal arts degree is a real asset in the job market. Employers want to hire people who are able to see issues from a variety of perspectives, who can distinguish between what is truly important and what is trivial. They want to hire people who have a knowledge of human nature that is deep enough to guide their relations with fellow workers. Employers want to hire people who can think critically, write effectively, and speak confidently. These are not skills that come from a technical education. They are the heart and soul of the liberal arts.
What if I have to change careers in a few years? Will my liberal arts degree help me then?
Most people change careers several times in their lives. Liberal arts degrees are broadly recognized as providing the best preparation for these changes. By not focusing on a narrow set of skills, your liberal arts degree prepares you to adapt and overcome the obstacles that all of us encounter in life. Most importantly, a liberal arts degree prepares you for leadership in whatever direction you choose for yourself.
