The Lush Language of Light, a collection of hand-colored photographs by Marianna Hofer, Associate Professor of English, are drawn from her childhood memories of a landscape populated by unexpected and unexplained moments of rural and urban decay.  She has published her poems and stories in a variety of magazines and shown her photos in local exhibits and eateries.
