Geology
Welcome
Geology courses are offered in support of majors in education, biology and environmental, safety and occupational health management. The 100- and 200-level courses are also general education electives that provide different perspectives of earth sciences for non-science majors. GEOL 410 is an upper-level computer applications course using Geographic Information Systems where students from diverse science, business and social science programs learn to display and analyze data as a function of geographic location.
A major in geology is not offered at The University of Findlay. However, a
minor in geology
is available and requires 17 semester hours of coursework, including: GEOL 120, 205, 300, 305, and 340.
