Agriculture Emphasis
The objective of the agricultural emphasis is to prepare students for careers in agricultural/biological fields, agribusiness, and land management opportunities. We have graduates who work in the Ohio State University Extension Service, 4-H division and graduates who work in farming and equestrian enterprises.
Students studying in this emphasis area have exceptional opportunities for hands-on experience through the university-owned Pre-Vet barn and equestrian farms. With the recent addition of an animal science major in the College of Sciences, students in this emphasis area will continue to benefit from a wealth of exciting field experience and learning opportunities.
